10:00 a.m. Business Meeting in the sanctuary to approve the priesthood calls of both Greg and Robb Kent to the office(s) of Deacon.  There will be a time during the meeting to share your testimonies of support. 

11:00 a.m. Worship – Jayne Ackley will be presiding and Glenn Kreuscher will be speaking on the theme “Believe the Good News”. 

Pastors/Leadership Luncheon meeting at 12:15 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall following worship service. 

Saturday, May 4 – Mission Center Pastors/Leaders Meeting from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Location to be announced.

Thursday, May 9 – The Women’s Fellowship Luncheon and Study group will meet at the home of Jan Dowell, 440 E. Walnut Street, Roselle at 12:30 p.m.  Barbara Wertz will be teaching the lesson 9 – The Time Dimension of Prayer—When We Pray from the book “What Happens When Women Pray”.  Please RSVP to Jan so she will know how many will be coming for lunch.

Friday, May 10 – Outreach and Youth Ministry meeting from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the community meeting room at Panera Bread located in the Arboretum of South Barrington (corner of Rt. 72 and Rt. 59), 100 W. Higgins Rd., South Barrington.  Anyone interested in outreach or youth ministry is welcome to attend.

Saturday, May 11 – The Young Peacemaker’s Club will meet at the church from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. For all children in grades K-8.  Please contact Kate or John Kent if you are able to help with this ministry.

Saturday, May 18 – The Elgin congregation will be participating in the Streamwood Park District’s annual Park Pride Day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Little Creek Park in preparation for the 2019 season.   Volunteers can plant flowers, pull weeds and pick up trash.  Tools and flowers will be provided. A complimentary lunch will be served at Hoosier Grove Barn at 12 p.m.  If you are available to help, please see John Kent.
