Today – Happy Easter!
9:00 a.m. “Sonrise” Service – Sheryl Sawyers will preside
9:30 a.m. - Buffet Breakfast & Easter Egg Hunt
11:00 a.m. Easter Worship service. Jeff Piedimonte will preside and our guest minister, Gary Elrod, will be speaking on the theme “I Have Seen the Lord”.
A big THANK YOU to the Women’s Fellowship group for providing the beautiful Easter lilies you see decorating the sanctuary!
Following the worship service, with our compliments, please take an Easter lily home with you. As a side note, you might be interested to know Easter lilies can be planted in your yard and will bloom again!

Sunday, April 28 – We are pleased to announce both Greg and Robb Kent have been called to the office of Deacon! Instead of having Sunday school classes, we will have a business meeting at 10:00 a.m. to approve their calls. There will be a time during the meeting to share your testimonies of support.

Thursday, May 9 – The Women’s Fellowship Luncheon and Study group will meet at the home of Jan Dowell, 440 E. Walnut Street, Roselle at 12:30 p.m. Barbara Wertz will be teaching the lesson 9 – The Time Dimension of Prayer—When We Pray from the book “What Happens When Women Pray”. Please RSVP to Jan so she will know how many will be coming for lunch.
Friday, May 10 – Outreach and Youth Ministry meeting from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the community meeting room at Panera Bread located in the Arboretum of South Barrington (corner of Rt. 72 and Rt. 59), 100 W. Higgins Rd., South Barrington. Anyone interested in outreach or youth ministry is welcome to attend.
Saturday, May 18 – The Elgin congregation will be participating in the Streamwood Park District’s annual Park Pride Day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Little Creek Park in preparation for the 2019 season. Volunteers can plant flowers, pull weeds and pick up trash. Tools and flowers will be provided. A complimentary lunch will be served at Hoosier Grove Barn at 12 p.m. If you are available to help, please see John Kent.
DONATIONS FOR “The Table” - a ministry being provided by the Highland, Indiana congregation to help those in need. Linda Meyer will continue collecting for this important ministry. If you wish to provide a cash donation, please make check payable to Community of Christ.
